let's just say the back cover was interesting... it's set in Italy :) and deals with struggles of a woman between her Jewish roots and the Christian world... now that i'm half way through it, i have to say that i like the book...it deals with a woman's struggle with her jewish family, the christian society, the political uprisings of the day, her hopes, her dreams, her desires... ok, i'm done! :) hehe... and i have to say i like the story quite alot.. especially since I've been to Rome...and will have seen alot of what has been described... it's a story weaved from some truths...which gives it an air of intrigue....but overall.. the story, the history, and the passions are nice to delve into even if it was only for a day or two. :)Donna Tartt: The Little Friend

i know i've said it before
but i LOVE THESE BOOTS!!! and i didn’t buy them when they first came out.. b/c they were ridiculously expensive.. and now.. i want to kick myself.. b/c they’ve vanished.. and in their place is a victorian knock up.. [sigh]
so if anyone out there.. finds me a pair of these boots.. i heard they come in purple too! :) hehe.. and a dark brown .. well if they’ve got a 38, 38.5… then i owe you big time! :) hehe..

when do you know if it'll truely last?
Oprah’s finally ready to let Stedman sleep over – every night.
The talk queen and longtime beau Stedman Graham are finally taking their relationship to the next level and moving in together – after, oh, 20 years or so—and tongues are wagging that this development could foretell the unthinkable … an Oprah-Stedman wedding.
According to Life & Style magazine, the pair have decided to cohabitate, possibly in the $6 million Chicago pad that O just bought. The mag’s source says Oprah is finally “happy to let Stedman have what he wants.” An Oprah rep confirms the news.
